Our Mission

At JDPC, the Women Empowerment Team is passionately committed to uplifting women across the Catholic Archdiocese of Jos. Through transformative initiatives in education, capacity building, gender equality and social inclusion, skill development, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, governance and political participation, and health and well-being, we strive to ignite independence and elevate the quality of life for women and their communities. Our vision is to create a future where every woman thrives with dignity and opportunity.

Economic and Livelihood Support

Economic and Livelihood Support

Promoting women's financial independence through targeted programs. Key components include:

  • Skills development and entrepreneurship training.
  • Access to credit and support for SMEs.

These efforts have empowered over 300 women to achieve financial stability.

Enhancing access to education and learning for women and girls. Key components include:

  • Literacy programs and vocational training.
  • Leadership development and scholarships.

Over 1000 women and girls have benefited from these opportunities.
